I am currently 16 and I believe my story started out very similarly to yours only my parents made a different decision. I was born with no fibular at all, major leg length discrepancies, missing/deformed things in my foot, ankle, hip, and knee, and my foot was twisted inwards. I had my first surgery when I was three years old and in a few months, I'll be having my 15th. It would be so incredible to talk with someone with the other perspective, as I often wonder what my life would be like if my parents had chosen otherwise. As of now, I am walking somewhat normally, and hopefully will be finished with all the surgeries in a few years. Please Please send me an email (I will private message you)
If you might be open to getting in touch virtually.

ps. I only have four toes and I use that in Never Have I Ever all the time!!!Lydia Schroederhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12254276978594286465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3759288423829515438.post-64107569253381567952013-05-12T08:07:26.277-07:002013-05-12T08:07:26.277-07:00You have adjusted so well that others (like me) fo...You have adjusted so well that others (like me) forget that you don't have two natural legs to stand on. When we were talking about Grandma's shower chair and someone mentioned you might want it I just gave them a blank look. It took me a minute to realize you only have one leg in the shower! You have really rose to the challenge.
